Jacobs offer a full range of Energy & Power Project services for utility scale power generation projects. Our scope of services is a mix of engineering consultancy including concept design, feasibility and pre-feasibility, design review, site investigations, techno-economic advisory services, and technical due diligence, construction management and owner’s engineering services.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As an Engineering Manager in Jacobs APAC Energy & Power group, you’ll be responsible for the overall management of the design review process for a range of renewable energy generation projects, including Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems and On and Offshore Wind.
You will manage multi-disciplinary project teams in a technical capacity and apply best practice advice on projects, providing engineering consultancy services. We seek someone with a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural or Renewable Engineering) and a background in supporting Owners’ Engineering assignments, with the opportunity to:
Coordinate the design review team and collaborate closely with the site team to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide essential engineering input to project issues, supporting Project Managers and clients.
Organise and participate in design review meetings with the EPC contractor, including coordination of attendance at factory inspections and testing activities.
Oversee document management processes and ensuring the quality of design reviews aligns with contractual requirements.
Evaluate, organising, and prioritising workloads within contractual limits and established schedules.
Analyse performance data related to design reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Prepare bids and submittals as necessary, supporting the Section Leader and Project Managers to deliver financially successful projects.
Manage projects or specific project phases, ensuring successful outcomes.
