Your Impact:

At Jacobs, our Power Solutions Team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.  

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Our Power Generation and Storage Solutions Team requires a Site HSE Engineer to join our Owner’s Engineer team on a renewables project based near Orange, NSW. We hope to find candidates local to the region, however relocation or FIFO arrangements may be considered. This position is being offered as a 6 month contract (overseas applications will not be considered) and will involve:

• Ensure works are being implemented in accordance with specifications and regulations.

• Undertake audits of the contractor’s HSE activities and documentation.

• Continuously monitor performance against HSE, schedule and quality.

• Review contractor’s resolution of HSE issues arising on site.

• Assist with interfacing and resolving HSE project issues.

• Provide daily, weekly and monthly HSE progress reports.

• Participate in and contribute to project HAZIDs/ HAZCONs, SiD as required.

• Review contractor works method statements, SWMS and associated documents prior to their commencement of works.

• Relevant experience including a Diploma or some work experience with a related Degree.

• Previous HSE project experience ideally in renewable energy or construction.
