Jacobs Office & Facilities Support Officer in North Sydney, Australia
Our Global Real Estate Operations team specialise in areas that impact the day to day employee experience. These ‘touch points’ include office location, size, design, safety practices, security, sustainability and many other aspects of operations within our office environments. As a result of our team’s broad and frequent exposure to Jacobs global employees, we work tirelessly to ensure employee satisfaction, both now and into the future. We have an opportunity for an experienced Office & Facilities Support Officer to join our Real Estate Operations team on a 6-month contracting arrangement, with the views to consider a permanent opportunity after this period.
The role reports to our Facilities Manager and will be based in our North Sydney office. We are looking for a self-starter who’ll provide support to the Facilities Manager and broader Facilities Management team in the day to day operations of a large office as we work towards our “Future of Work” Strategy.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
You’ll have previous experience working in a similar support role delivering service excellence to internal and external stakeholders. You will have sound Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn tailored invoicing systems. Additional responsibilities include:
Assist with the delivery of all Facilities Management services & key contact for building, office & facilities issues
Assist with office re-stacking
Administer day to day operation of Project 4WD’s (key access / parking etc)
Assist with all building safety, security and evacuation procedures & communications
Undertake mail room duties
Relief reception duties
Daily invoicing into accounting system
