Your Impact:
A new opportunity exists for a Principal Project Manager based at our Sydney office. Reporting to the Section Leader – Roads & Highways, the purpose of this role is to provide senior project leadership for the project management and delivery of major, complex Transport and Civil Infrastructure projects. You will be a strong communicator, able to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders and able to motivate a team of talented professionals and designers to deliver quality output for our clients.
The role is focused on effective management of our contractual obligations on projects and includes responsibility and oversight of financial and schedule performance, effective resource management and risk management. The role also provides support to our Sales team for the maintenance of existing client relationships, the development of new relationships and winning new work in engaging in opportunity pursuits with key clients.
This position will also include opportunities to perform the Designated Project Executive role on selected transport projects, support project governance activities whilst managing and coordinating medium to major sized proposals. #LI-NN1 #APMETransport #ANZTransport #ANZProjectManagement #ANZRoads #ANZHighways
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Extensive experience on major, multidisciplinary Roads & Highways and the broader transport business.
• The ability to perform the Designated Project Executive role on selected transport projects, support project governance activities
• Proven experience in successful delivery of engineering services through tendering, design, and construction phases of major projects
• Breadth of experience across all project management fields, including, commercial performance and reporting, risk identification and mitigation, project sequencing and programme management, interface management, effective resource management
• Experience managing design & operational risks, HSE, quality
