At Jacobs, our Power Solutions Team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.  

Here’s What You’ll Need:

We require a Quality Manager, for 30 weeks , to support two renewables projects, based near Wagga Wagga and Orange, both in NSW. Hopeful we will find candidates local to the region, or within NSW, we may consider relocation or FIFO arrangements. This important role on our site will involve the following:

• Prepare, implement and deliver the overarching Quality Management Plan (QMP).

• Ensure works conform to the overarching QMP at all times.

• Review Contractor’s Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs).

• Co-ordinate with resources to witness inspection hold points.

• Establish systems which ensure client-supplied components are always traceable.

• Prepare and implement quality audit procedures.

• Establish and achieve a system to track and close NCRs.

We’re looking for someone who has gained some of the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a relatable area or equivalent trade or industry experience.

• Prior understanding of construction QA/QC for large commercial or multi-disciplined, industrial, utility, civil, highway or road, high voltage electrical or power generation projects.

• Adept dealing with the overall construction QA/QC.

• Skilled in external or internal audit and working knowledge of ISO Quality standards.
