Jacobs Senior Associate Water Engineer (Civil) in North Sydney, Australia

Jacobs is renowned for the excellence of our technical consulting and project delivery expertise in the Water Industry. With a healthy range of projects and a secure pipeline of work, we are actively seeking to recruit Water Engineering Professionals with Networks experience to be based in Chatswood, NSW, at our Confluence Water office.

Confluence Water and Sydney Water form a fully-integrated team, that will enable Sydney Water to build stronger relationships with residents, businesses, councils and local infrastructure providers, to get the best results for customers, community and the environment.

You will be working within high performing multi-functional teams that design, construct, upgrade, commission and manage Sydney Water’s assets in Greater Sydney’s Northern Region. This will provide a unique and valuable opportunity to broaden your skillset across all phases of asset delivery on a range of water and waste water networks engineering projects.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Water engineer with experience in design of water and/or waste water network infrastructure

  • Desire to gain experience across design, construction and commissioning phases

  • The ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, contractors, and project staff

  • Ability to work well individually and collaboratively within teams

  • Relevant qualifications in the water engineering environment (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering)

  • We are ideally looking for local candidates that can work in the Chatswood office and onsite as required
