The Senior Principal / Technical Leader – Tunnel Engineering is responsible for providing innovation, technical excellence and leadership in the discipline of civil/tunnel design and delivery. You will also provide technical leadership on D & C and tender type projects, analytical, modelling and design skills capability to our project team. The role includes building Jacobs technical brand in the marketplace, client facing tasks to assist sales operations in pursuits.
The role also provides technical leadership across the APAC TGE projects, maintaining of existing client relationships and the development of new relationships and market opportunities. You will help drive business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next opportunities and support the winning of opportunities.
The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects. The role will support management of the TGE team, in terms of team development and growth, building technical capability and growing the TGE portfolio. Key to this role will be the interface with GID delivery centres in order to improve delivery capability to meet targets. #LI-AP1 #APMETransport #ANZTransport
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Extensive knowledge and breadth of civil/tunnel engineering concepts and application.
• Extensive experience with the latest ground engineering and rock mechanics methodologies, processes and software packages
• Advanced ability to interpret and communicate modelling results of a medium and high complexity
• The ability to review more complex technical work which requires careful application of existing guidelines, processes and codes of practice
• Working knowledge of the local environment, relevant industry, particularly working within the NSW Transport Sector •
