With a full range of project and program management services. We partner seamlessly with our clients to coordinate and safely and successfully deliver projects and programs.

At Jacobs, we deliver some of the world’s largest and most iconic mega projects and programs. The Technical Director - Transformation role is a key pillar of the Jacobs ANZ Program Management Strategy.

You will be responsible for advising our clients at early stages, on how to incorporate global best practice in enterprise, divisional or program-level strategic change, to maximise success throughout the design, initiation and execution of large-scale infrastructure, digital and organisational transformation programs.

You may also be responsible for leading major stand-alone transformation programs or leading the transformational aspects of other projects and programs, including, for example, ways of working, behavioural/cultural change, performance improvement or benefits realisation workstreams.

You will support our talented technical professionals to be globally and regionally connected, engaged and inspired to solve our client’s most significant and challenging transformation problems. As such, you will have a central position in engaging our clients at the highest levels to understand and support their aspirations.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Highly rated performance in the delivery of major business, operational or cultural transformation programs (i.e., design and implementation of new delivery models, program management frameworks and systems, program systems and performance management platforms, and adoption and embedding new ways of working).

  • Previous experience leading a major standalone transformation program or supporting delivery of a major program as transformation partner lead.

  • Highly effective in complex problem solving, stakeholder engagement and communications experience and enjoyment working in early pursuit and program initiation phases.

  • Strong knowledge of transformational & change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Kübler-Ross).

  • Strong knowledge of program methodologies (e.g., PgMP, PMP, P3O).

  • An innovation & opportunity mindset.

  • Experience and enjoyment working in early pursuit and program initiation phases, with the ability to identify opportunities and win work.
