In your role as Transport Engineer, you will responsible for providing consultancy services in the Transport Planning market in the ANZ region. With the support of the Section Leader of Transport Planning and the Technical Directors for Transport Planning, Transport Engineering and Transport Modelling, you will support the senior team members to place Jacobs at the front end of civil engineering projects, key land use and transport projects through the process of transport planning and transport infrastructure design.
The role will also assist with delivering projects with a moderate degree of technical and/or integration complexity to produce high quality technical outcomes. The role requires effective communication, commercial awareness, helping to win work, prepare proposals and work with clients. You will contribute towards bids for transport planning work; as part of this you will often work collaboratively with multidisciplinary, multi-geolocated teams. An important part to this role will be the interface with GID delivery centres in order to improve delivery capability to meet targets. #ANZTransport #LI-AP1 #APMETransport
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Sound understanding of traffic and transport engineering/planning concepts and tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in traffic operations and capacity analysis.
• Demonstrated understanding of the interfaces between transport planning, transport engineering and transport modelling
• Working knowledge of the local environment, relevant industry, particularly working within the Transport Sector
• Familiarity of technical standards and guidelines
