Your Impact:

As a Project Manager, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, and construction management project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Project Manager based in the Bay Area, CA who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo.

By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Specifically, the scope of services for this position includes safely and efficiently managing the overall scope, schedule and budget of a project- with detailed tasks including:

  • Working with different stakeholders to understand the scope of work, budget and schedule for the projects. Stakeholders include internal stakeholders, cities/ counties and other public agencies.

  • Developing different work orders for design and construction of the projects.

  • Working with Contracts & Procurement to issue the work orders and contracts.

  • Coordinating and performing field visits with the project team.

  • Communicating with different internal stakeholders/customers to inform them and satisfy their requirements.

  • Creating and utilizing wise methods to determine cost-effective and practical decisions for projects throughout their life cycle.

  • Managing the different work orders and contracts.

  • Reviewing and approving invoices for the work orders.

  • Managing and coordinating construction in the field.

  • Working with the contractor and the construction management team.

  • Ensuring the projects are completed on time and within the assigned budget.

  • Closing out all contracts and projects.

The Project Manager will be a full-time position. The Project Manager is required to work on-site at the client’s headquarters office in San Ramon, CA when the COVID work restrictions are lifted. Until then, the Project Manager will work from an off-site office. The Project Manager will be required to attend all the project meetings and other activities for the projects’ business needs.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or its equivalent in education and experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing projects.

• Prior experience in a construction environment.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field

• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or Professional Engineering (PE) license

• Experience as a Project Manager on large, linear infrastructure construction projects with multiple stakeholders

• Prior experience on local, state and/or federal projects

• Knowledge of and experience with RFI’s and Change Orders through use of Construction Administration resources like Ariba or Unifier.

• Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce and SAP.
