Our Telecommunications Group has been at the forefront of creating a new generation of wireless communication infrastructure for over 40 years. We specialize in everything from network development to complete telecom life cycle solutions. While the wireless world is ever changing, the demand for innovative technology and long-term support services remains constant. These services include site acquisition, design, and construction, to full operations, maintenance, and deconstruction.
Excellent opportunity in our OAKS, PA Warehouse for an experienced Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors, visitors and guests
Ensure you have a full understanding of the safety policies and procedures
Participates in all safety training and enforces all safety policies and procedures and ensuring all PPE is worn when appropriate
Responsible for daily SPA and forklift checklists are completed at each location, along with ensuring all personnel are forklift certified
Availability to travel 75% of time (to include coverage of warehouse manager vacations for all locations)
Ability to work with new managers during training process and/or fill at any location during transition times
Understands and enforces all Supply Chain process and procedures
Understands the basic warehouse concepts such as inventory management and how inventory flows through the warehouse while maintaining full accountability
Responsible for the management of client provided materials
Provides reports to management as requested
Displays sound judgement and decision-making abilities
Attends all required meetings and trainings as directed by HR, Safety Department, Department Director or Market Manager
Ensures that the facility is well maintained, clean, and materials are in proper locations
Conducts quarterly warehouse audits, prepares written reports and works with specific warehouse to rectify any issues
Conducts annual physical inventories
Additional duties may be assigned
Here’s what you’ll need :
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License is required
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment required
MS Office Skills, specifically Excel is required
Travel 25% of time is required
Proficient in Peoplesoft software preferred
5 years experience in warehouse management, with prior experience managing a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred
Experience managing warehouse personnel
Powered Industrial Equipment Experience preferred
Must be able to work for any US employer without current or future visa sponsorship
Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and work at heights.
