Jacobs is seeking a Deputy Program manager to support the upcoming ACES MAC contract at Vance AFB, OK.
The DPM shall have binding authority in the absence of the SPM to act on behalf of the Contractor on all matters relating to the Contract.
The DPM performs in the same capacity as an Air Force Maintenance Group Commander and must have applicable experience managing maintenance organizations.
The DPM ensures all aspects of the maintenence group responsibilities are accomplished.
The DPM shall exercise Contractor management and operational control for their areas and be responsible for performance.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
20 years Air Force Aircraft Maintenance experience
10 years AF Fighter/Trainer aircraft maintenance experience
5 years experience as Maintenance Operations Officer or Maintenance Superintendent or higher
Clearance Required: Secret
Have at least twenty years of aircraft maintenance leadership/managerial experience equivalent to an Air Force Maintenance Group Commander and has in-depth skills in analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and resolve issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
Have an in-depth comprehension of large-scale aircraft maintenance organizations and the functions and operations of other Wing/base activities (i.e. Civil Engineering, Logistic, Operations, etc.)
Possess an in-depth understanding of personnel management policies, practices, and procedures. This shall include the ability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies; the ability to change program or production requirements within available resources with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality of work; and the ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress toward their achievement.
Have the experience to analyze comprehensive maintenance evaluation results and make significant operational course corrections based on that data to ensure high quality maintenance is being consistently provided.
- Work is primarily sedentary. Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday in connection with travel to and from meeting and conferences. May carry light items, such as reports, data products, notebooks and laptops.
Criticality of Attendance:
The SPM shall be physically present on site during normal duty hours.
Must be available for contact outside of normal duty hours.
After normal duty hours, the SPM or alternate shall be available within one (1) hour after notification to meet on the installation with Government personnel.
Equipment and Machines:
- Standard office equipment and machines: personal computer, scanner, copy machine, telephone, printer, fax machine, and other office equipment including desk supplies.
Other Essential Functions:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must pass drug testing.
Must be able to read and write effectively in English.
