Job Description:

Jacobs is seeking a Site Program manager to support the upcoming ACES MAC contract at Vance AFB, OK.

Typical Duties:

  • The SPM or alternate shall have binding authority to act on behalf of the Contractor on all matters relating to the contract.

  • The SPM performs in the same capacity as an Air Force Maintenance Group Commander and must have applicable experience managing maintenance organizations.

  • The SPM ensures all aspects of the maintenence group responsibilities are accomplished.

  • The SPM shall exercise Contractor management and operational control for their areas and be responsible for performance.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Qualifications:

  • Graduated Air Force Maintenance Group Commander

  • Master’s Degree

  • 20 years Air Force Aircraft Maintenance experience

  • 10 years AF Fighter aircraft maintenance experience

Clearance Required: Secret

Experience Requirements:

  • Have at least twenty years of aircraft maintenance leadership/managerial experience equivalent to an Air Force Maintenance Group Commander and has in-depth skills in analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and resolve issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.

  • Have an in-depth comprehension of large-scale aircraft maintenance organizations and the functions and operations of other Wing/base activities (i.e. Civil Engineering, Logistic, Operations, etc.)

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of personnel management policies, practices, and procedures. This shall include the ability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies; the ability to change program or production requirements within available resources with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality of work; and the ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress toward their achievement.

  • Have the experience to analyze comprehensive maintenance evaluation results and make significant operational course corrections based on that data to ensure high quality maintenance is being consistently provided.

Essential Functions:

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is primarily sedentary. Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday in connection with travel to and from meeting and conferences. May carry light items, such as reports, data products, notebooks and laptops.

Criticality of Attendance:

  • The SPM shall be physically present on site during normal duty hours.

  • Must be available for contact outside of normal duty hours.

  • After normal duty hours, the SPM or alternate shall be available within one (1) hour after notification to meet on the installation with Government personnel.

Equipment and Machines:

  • Standard office equipment and machines: personal computer, scanner, copy machine, telephone, printer, fax machine, and other office equipment including desk supplies.

Other Essential Functions:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must pass drug testing.

  • Must be able to read and write effectively in English.

  • Must embrace Beyond Zero/Safety principles of Jacobs to include; adhering to safe work practices and standards while performing daily tasks, taking responsibility for own and coworkers’ safekeeping and encouraging others to work safely.

  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

  • Must perform work activities requiring interaction, negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others.

  • Must be flexible to support the customer.

  • Must be a resident in the local area of the main supported unit.

  • Have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy.
