Working alongside seasoned planning, project development and transportation teams, you’ll be on the frontlines identifying and implementing solutions impacting current and future transportation issues. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct detailed research, engage in project development and drafting of deliverables.

What you might do:

  • Support staff across offices on key projects and tasks

  • Conduct basic research and data collection

  • Assist team members in the creation of visual deliverables

  • Support the development of reports and presentation materials

  • Attend relevant staff and project meetings

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Interest in the field of planning

  • In pursuit of a planning or relevant degree, either at the undergraduate or graduate level, from an accredited program

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs

  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills

  • Research, data analysis, and GIS experience

  • A previous internship or work experience related to your field of study
