We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Roadway Project Manager in Orlando to join our team. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients challenges locally and worldwide.

As our Roadway Project Manager, you will be responsible for the technical design and management of roadway design projects throughout Florida. This is a great opportunity to produce/manage technical designs and assist in growing our engineering transportation team in Central and North Florida. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Manager for key roadway and bridge design projects including operational and safety improvements.

  • Lead technical team in developing solutions to complex roadway design projects, requiring a high degree of innovation and ingenuity.

  • Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing advance design concepts, techniques, and standards.

  • Assuring effective utilization of engineering personnel and technical quality.

  • Work with business development and marketing teams to secure new projects.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • 5-10 years’ experience in transportation/highway engineering and management of design projects is required.

  • Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university.

  • Florida Professional Engineer PE license and ability to serve as Engineer of Record.

  • Previous experience with design of roadway/highway facilities and management of similar projects.

  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and possess written and oral communication skills is required.

  • Must be able to lead a design team developing construction plans for roadway/highway facilities.

  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local design guidelines including the FDOT Florida Design Manual (FDM) and Standard Plans.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience as a project manager delivering projects for FDOT.

  • Limited access, toll road, and interchange design experience

  • Experience designing or managing design build projects.

  • Proficiency in MicroStation and Open Roads Designer.
