Responsibilitiesof a Senior PD&E Project Manager include winning and deliveringenvironmental studies and leading a team of professionals to prepare technicaldocumentation such as NEPA documents, studies, impact analysis and impactsummaries on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Expressway Authorityand local government projects. The ideal candidate will have at leastten (10) years of applicable experience in FDOT PD&E Studies and clientrelationships with FDOT and other public agency staff.
Project management of NEPA/planning projects including managing budgets, schedule, engaging with clients, managing subcontractors, and ensuring QA/QC of all deliverables
Conduct reviews and supervise public involvement plan implementation and provide technical oversight of public involvement deliverables
Perform environmental studies and prepare technical documentation, including preparation of NEPA documents, studies, impact analysis and impact summaries
Provide technical support for preliminary engineering reports and conceptual plan development
Prepare and review environmental technical studies including socioeconomic data, public involvement documentation and general transportation planning assignments
Use established client relationships to assist with marketing and business development
Coordinate with FDOT, local agencies, project stakeholders and environmental resource agencies to prepare project documentation
Write reports and memos for internal or external distribution, and public involvement material
10 years of applicable experience in conceptual planning on Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Studies for FDOT
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Civil Engineering, Planning or related fields
Registered Florida Professional Engineer (PE)
