Due to continued business growth, we are looking for several passionate and curious client-focused Intermediate Water and Wastewater Process Engineers to support our regional team. As part of our team, you’ll prepare technical reports and proposals and will have the chance to perform a variety of municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment engineering work in the initial planning, design, and construction phases of projects. Working with other members of our team, you'll work on projects evaluating and selecting the best treatment approach to solve our clients' challenges and planning and designing treatment systems and plant improvements. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with a variety of treatment processes that may include a combination of conventional and advanced chemical, physical, and biological processes such coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, secondary biological treatment, media filtration and absorption processes, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, free chlorine, chloramine) and other treatment processes. You will prepare and /or supervise engineering reports, studies, calculations and checks drawings as well as participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor bid evaluations. You will participate in the generation of proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets.
You’ll be working mainly from home (unless you prefer coming into one of our offices), with the expectation to travel for client /site meetings and occasional team meetings.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Holds (or eligible for) Professional Engineers membership
• At least 5 years' of progressively experience and knowledge of multiple water /wastewater treatment equipment, systems, or processes (ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience)
• Municipal water /wastewater design is desired
• Previous equipment sizing and selection experience is desired
• Process modelling experience with modelling software (e.g. Biowin) is an asset
• Construction experience is an asset
• Assisting project managers and project teams on large consulting projects is desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication is required
• Positive attitude, dependable, with the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution
• Desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each new process /process mechanical engineering task
