Jacobs Sr Transportation Engineer in Pensacola, Florida

Based in the Pensacola, FL office, but consistent with our dynamically developing hybrid home/office work locations, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your highway/roadway design expertise to serve as a task lead on transportation related projects.
You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living and have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
• Substantial post graduate professional years of demonstrated experience on various types of roadway projects, to include design and plan development of new and rehabilitation projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited University
• Demonstrated proficiency with CADD/Design Software (preferably MicroStation/OpenRoads), and a variety of transportation engineering analysis and design software
• Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in Florida or ability to attain a Florida PE
Ideally, you’ll also have: • Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects. • Experience with Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards • Previous demonstrated project experience with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Counties and Municipalities
