The Digital Engineering and Civil Design Lead reports to the Section Leader –New Energy and Resources providing leadership across all disciplines. You will lead Digital Engineering and Civil Design initiatives within the New Energy and Resources Hub and influence delivery from other sections on projects associated with the NER Hub, promoting best practice, and contributing to the Digital Engineering strategy for ANZ.
You will be actively involved in proposals and project resourcing and will frequently review projects associated with the hub. You will be accountable for project information management processes, Common Data Environment set-ups, application of tools standards, digital delivery workflows and content management, and will be responsible for DE learning and development activities, demonstrating responsible and proactive commercial management, and making disciplined investment decisions.
You will work closely with project managers, design managers, project information managers and BIM coordinators, and inspire them to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding digital delivery.
Develops leading design and drafting practices
Enables system to allow remote and multi-office working practices
Works with the Global Integration Delivery Lead, Sections Leaders and Director of Operations to ensure that GID objectives are achieved across the operations
Drives integration with Jacobs Technology
Identifies investments in technology that will produce valuable outcomes for our clients.
Implement the BIM technologies and strategy in the region
Facilitates and provides key technical input to proposals
Coordinate design resource planning for New Energy and Resources hub as well as delivery support from other PUs and sections.
Works collaboratively with other members of the NER Hub leadership team to deliver on operational outcomes.
