Jacobs is seeking a Regional Principal Structural Engineer – Water and Wastewater Structures to join our Built Environment Group. This position can be based anywhere in Australia.
In this senior role, you will work closely with our Regional Solutions Directors – Water and Building systems, Technical Directors and the Regional Water panels to; prepare proposals, lead major projects, develop our structures team members, recruit and grow our capability and strengthen our market presence.
You will have a strong ability to lead a core group of structural engineers and modellers across the ANZ region. You will be poised in providing consistent guidance and role modelling of Jacobs’ core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture that embodies Jacobs’ Culture of Caring and prioritises the health and wellbeing of people. This senior position will have you working with valued clients, assisting strategic bids and being a visible industry leader in Water retaining Structures. You will be a role model in developing best practice quality and delivery strategies and ensure a consistent approach to implementation across the ANZ region.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Chartered Engineer and/or State specific registered engineer, relevant to State/country of project implementation.
10-15 years industry experience
Experience developing diverse geographic teams.
Water retaining structures experience including RC, Post tensioned and precast tank solutions
Effective communication skills and be creative in problem solving
