Jacobs is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join our New Energy and Resources team based in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and leading consultancy services, engineering services, technical input and direction in design to assist with the development and execution of growth strategies that will lead to the growth of new energy and resources business within ANZ and globally.

This role will focus on leading the pursuit and delivery of key opportunities within the new energy and resources sector. The primary focus of the role will be to support studies from our clients in new energy and resources but may also cross over into downstream delivery phases. This appointment will focus on developing a Jacobs offering that leverages our existing multi-disciplinary capability providing a unique value proposition for our clients.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 15 years professional experience in relevant industry

  • Provide engineering verification on projects

  • Experience in management of multidisciplinary projects

  • Current knowledge of international and local engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with new energy and resources projects

  • Current knowledge of international and local engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with new energy and resources projects

  • Experience with various aspects of the planning, design and commissioning processes, construction methods and interface requirements of multi-disciplinary projects
