Your Impact:

At Jacobs, our Power Solutions team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.

Jacobs has a newly created role for an experienced Resources Operational Lead to join the team in Perth. The role will work closely with the ANZ Resources Sector Business Development Director based in WA to implement the Jacobs Resources Strategy with a primary focus on mining and oil and gas .

In this role, you will be leading the Resources Strategy in assisting our resource clients to decarbonize their organizations and operations and respond to climate change. You will provide local guidance in the implementation of the Jacobs Resources Strategy, drawing on our deep cross-sector capability as well as regional and international expertise. You will be working to develop relationships with key resource sector clients to secure energy transition, power and decarbonisation opportunities. You will support capability development and the growth of the business in the region, aligned to the Jacobs Resources Strategy strategies.

Results in this role requires creative solutions oriented approach and the ability to leverage Jacobs’ strengths with the benefits of energy transition and low emission technologies. Our clients’ decarbonization and energy transition goals, will be achieved with our support to reinvent their organizations and deliver a low carbon future. Jacobs Resources Strategy is reliant on meaningful client engagement and is designed to provide high value solutions to these clients.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Extensive experience in resources sector, especially within the Western Australia market

• Ability to impact, inspire, build and strengthen teams to meet strategic goals

• Experience of large multi-disciplinary program - project or study environments for resource sector clients

• Experience in power, energy transition and decarbonisation in the resources or similar sector preferred

• Established client relationships and a track record of successfully delivering exceptional outcomes for clients

• Establish business acumen and emotional intelligence

• Person who has the passion to provide direction and strengthen effective energy transition and decarbonization outcomes for Resource sector clients

• Drive to make the world a better place for the next generation.
