About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience of delivering projects in the water or environmental sector to join our Water Catchment Management in Peterborough
You will lead multi-disciplinary teams ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services to a wide range of clients across the Water and Environment sector, in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Working largely in the field of flood risk management, your projects will range from feasibility studies and planning, to design, construction management and operations and maintenance, for clients including the Environment Agency (both regionally and nationally), Lead Local Flood Authorities and other public and private clients including water companies, Network Rail, and major airports.
You will be responsible for budget and programme management, contract administration and promoting best practise for the health, safety and wellbeing of your project team. You will have the opportunity to become involved in maintaining and developing strong ongoing client relationships, helping us to win new work, supporting project and team management and contributing your own innovative ideas to help us find affordable, sustainable and low carbon solutions for our clients.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) ideally in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field
Proven ability to project manage a variety of project types and sizes
APM PMQ and/or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
Proven ability to work under NEC contracts
Strong commercial awareness and experience
Ability to develop, price and agree scope of services
Excellent literacy, communication, analytical and numeracy skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective mentoring and training skills
