Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking a highly experienced and energetic Cyber Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In support of the government customer, the Jacobs Program Manager, and the Incremental Sustainment Services (ISS) Director, the Cyber Engineer is responsible for responsive and coherent planning, development, and delivery of PARCS and UEWR assessment of systems and networks, in addition to the SW&SS Cloud environment, to identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for ensuring system software installs, maintenance, break/fix activities, and cyber security mitigations are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service level agreement.

· Be a lead innovator in process improvement and system design.

· Enhance cybersecurity measures by maintaining an operational security posture and ensure information systems security policies, standards and procedures are established and followed.

· Work closely with a team of engineers, including system administrators, network engineers, system engineers, and cybersecurity engineers, to provide high quality, innovative engineering services to the Government customer.

· Work with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions.

· Provide subject matter expertise on cyber requirements, the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), the Security Requirement Guide (SRG), and JFHQ DoDIN Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO).

· Possess knowledge of and familiarity with SCAP tools and vulnerability scanning tools (such as NMAP, Nessus (or Tenable ACAS suite).

· Lead vulnerability management through weekly interaction with an operations team, use innovative means to achieve positive outcomes.

· Conduct passive evaluations such as compliance audits using STIG Viewer, SCAP, etc. and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments utilizing tools such as ACAS.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications:

· Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 6 years of general experience; Associate degree and 4 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 0 years of general experience.

· CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification

· Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Experience

· Active DoD Secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous USSF, Space Systems Command/SMORS program experience

· UEWR/PARCS Radar experience
