As a Senior Automated Fare Collection (AFC) Specialist, you will assist Transit Agencies with their overall assessment, design and implementation of fare collection processes and technologies to enhance fare collection and revenue operations.

Bring your industry knowledge and leadership ability to the forefront in collaborating with our team to: Review and evaluate both new and existing Automated Fare Collection (AFC) system operations and provide recommendations for future solutions, oversee procurement related tasks associated with the evaluation and selection of new AFC technology solutions, plan, monitor and manage AFC system related projects in relation to advancement of technologies and revenue protections, and remain abreast of latest AFC technologies, trends, and solutions relative to Transit fare collection systems.

You'll play an integral role in mentoring staff and forming and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelors’ degree with major course work in computer science, business administration, or a related field

  • At least 5 years' progressive and demonstrated Project Management experience involving technology related initiatives

  • At least 3 years' experience coordinating and supporting fare collection business processes with AFC systems in a Transit Agency

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills

Ideally You'll Also Have:

  • Advanced degree related

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent
