The Site/Civil Team in Philadelphia is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who is focused on Site Design and Engineering with a multi-discipline approach working on large technically complex projects. We want you to be excited about forward thinking, and innovative projects that impact the world. Some of our projects are leading corporations with focus on mission critical, advance facilities, transportation and research and development.

You’ll provide technical guidance and mentoring to Junior civil engineering staff, general oversite with some production support for building projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. This may include preparation of civil design models; engineered drawings of plans (site layout, underground utility, site grading, E&S plans, and stormwater and sanitary calculations), elevations, cross sections and details of typical site features related to Civil engineering.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering

  • 15 years of professional experience in engineering

  • PC Proficiency: Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Adobe, Blue Beam Revu, Microsoft Office

  • Proficient in Stormwater design, calculations, modeling, and Green infrastructure

  • Sizing of underground piping systems

  • Knowledge of underground utility systems, in particular gravity systems (stormwater and sanitary)

  • Knowledge of site engineering including; site layout, parking, roadways, hardscape/softscape, site grading and utilities and modeling those systems

  • A demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, communicate effectively to all key personnel, manage time efficiently, and produce correct designs within budgeted time

  • Zoning code reviews and analysis

  • Knowledge of Land Development Process, State, Federal and Local permitting processes and time lines

  • Public presentations

  • Must be hold a professional engineers license
