We're looking for a Construction Designer in Phoenix, AZ . You will provide RFIs for construction, project scope of works, bid comparisons, work plan generations, conditional use, and approvals. You will coordinate with team members to develop, review, and approve design criteria, layouts, and detail drawings; resolve issues related to design criteria and specifications required to meet operating requirements and building and safety codes.
You will inspect construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules, as well as participate in field verification walks, and review and approve as-built and redline markups. Here’s What You’ll Need:
Minimum 7 years of experience providing construction designer support in semiconductor manufacturing facilities or advanced facilities
Knowledgeable of construction processes, startup, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of systems and buildings
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Knowledge of semiconductor facilities systems, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, piping, boiler, chiller, and related mechanical building systems
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and requirements
Knowledge of building control systems and remote energy management systems
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
Experience with Windows based software, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
