Our Program Management team is looking for an Electrical Discipline Lead with a background in Construction Management to join our collaborative team onsite at our client’s project location in Pittsburgh, PA . Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to serve as the key liaison to the client, focused on ensuring satisfaction of project delivery at one of the largest airports in the US. As a Subject Matter Expert, you’ll leverage your people management skills and utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward as well as interfacing with clients in managing the quality of work. Overseeing

You’ll provide on-site leadership during construction and startup, coordinating work activities with other design and engineering professionals. Your role is part of a multi-discipline team that will successfully deliver on the electrical systems during the construction phase to project close out.  Additionally, you may be providing process improvements related to budgets, time management, and delivery leading to the close out the project. You’ll oversee management and contract performance with a specialization in electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C).

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) license

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

  • 20+ years of experience working on large building construction projects with a focus on Electrical Engineering components

  • Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components `

  • Excellent working knowledge of electrical and I&C work associated with buildings construction

  • Experience managing a team of engineering professionals, including monitoring work performance and driving professional development 

  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70(NEC) and applicable local building specialty codes

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams  

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, and analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to pass FAA background check and obtain an airport security ID badge

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Master’s Degree in Construction or Engineering

  • Proficient working knowledge of Revit software

  • Prior experience with airport terminal projects or projects of like size and complexity (US $1B)
