We’re seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer based in our Pittsburgh office, to deliver solutions that span the entire breadth of the Metals or Steel Making Industry. You’ll be a key member on our team in the design of the industrial and steel making facilities and will be responsible for preparing drawings and sketches using CAD workstations, appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals. You’ll work closely with engineers to coordinate designs, evaluate and resolve problems by reviewing multiple sources of information and drawing conclusions, and assists less experienced team members in using technology, as well as prepare electrical design package including One-Lines, MCC Layouts, Motor Control Schematics, Grounding Plans, Lighting Plans, Cable-tray and Conduit Layouts, Underground Conduit Details, and Installation Details. We’ll tap into your expertise as you provide motivation and direction to project teams, while delivering nurturing mentorship to our junior staff to help them thrive and grow.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering specifically for the metals or steel making industry or other heavy industry.
• Proficiency in Power Analysis design software (ETAP and/or SKM Power Tools).
• Proficiency in Lighting design software (ELUM and/or DIALUX).
• Adept knowledge of industry codes and standards (NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API and ASI.
• Adept knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems at Low (480V), Medium (5KV), and High (15KV) Voltages.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• P.E. License.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams.
