Jacobs Safety Professional in Port Allen, Louisiana
Develops, plans, organizes, coordinates and monitors HSE programs to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, company and client policies and procedures.
Provides ongoing communication to management concerning the assessment of the health and safety program with proactive and or corrective actions.
Contributes to development of new techniques and standards.
Develops processes that require innovation and ingenuity. Work performed without appreciable direction.
Provides interpretation of compliance programs. Interfaces with project and corporate management, clients, and relevant government agencies.
12 years of related experience required
Experience with all facets of safety programs in an industrial environment, including planning, training, implementation, monitoring, certification, and OSHA compliance preferred
The candidate must be able to work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists preferred
