When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re focused on the greatest challenges the planet faces, including energy transformation. We are looking for an early career environmental permitting professional to support our clients in the Pacific Northwest.

Based out of a Pacific Northwest office, you’ll have the opportunity to perform both office and field work and engage with our team’s recognized experts to permit new infrastructure. Our projects include siting, permitting, construction, and maintenance projects. You will have the opportunity to work on environmental compliance, permitting and impact assessment, and restoration and mitigation planning projects. You’ll be challenged as you support multiple projects across sectors. The ideal candidate has an interest in office work, writing, leading tasks, with some field work. Your growth and increase in responsibility will be recognized and rewarded with commensurate changes in level and compensation.

Jacobs supports work from home and flexible schedules. A consistent presence in one of our offices is not required.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Planning or similar discipline

• Experience with environmental permitting and report writing

• Task leadership skills

• Experience interacting with state and federal agencies to coordinate information required for permit review

• Familiarity with state and federal regulations; knowledge of environmental regulatory processes

• Ability to travel and work in the field
