Join our team in Portland, OR team as an Entry-Level Structural Engineer and work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business! You’ll have the chance to work on projects including the design of new structures as well as existing structural upgrades. With mentorship and guidance from our technical experts, you’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain soon after hire

  • Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC

  • AutoCAD, Excel, and Word experience

Ideally, you’ll also have: 

  • MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Previous experience or coursework which utilized programs such as STAAD, Navisworks, RISA-3D, REVIT, and/or Bluebeam

  • Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC

  • Previous internship experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
