We are looking for a driven and passionate Junior Water Conveyance Engineer in Portland, Oregon.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to a variety of water conveyance and wastewater and stormwater collection system management and planning, condition assessment, rehabilitation, design, and construction support projects for diverse range of clients in the local and regional markets. Working under the supervision and mentorship of senior level engineers, you will initially perform assignments that are clearly defined and require the application of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria through the planning, design, and construction phases of projects. These initial assignments will allow you to strengthen your technical expertise and give you a foundation for career growth through mentorship and progressively more challenging project assignments and roles.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.

  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within 18 months.

  • Dependable and capable of meeting assigned project deadlines with support from more senior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of experience working in engineering roles.

  • Experience with several of the following software packages: ArcMap, ArcGIS, InfoWater, InfoSWMM, Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil3D, and related analytical tools.
