We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Construction Project Manager with a focus on the Electrical trade who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client's sites in the Wallkill, NY area, you will report directly to the Sr. Project Manager and will work alongside other project team members focusing on project in the conception to close out phase. You’ll manage various projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client's facility and have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application. Bring your expertise to solve complex problems and provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects. Your ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • High School diploma

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Assistant Project Manager

  • Working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application

  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, construction documents, building systems/components and technology

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Work will require access to secure facilities and employment will require a background check

  • This position may involve after hours work and the ability to assist with field coverage for emergency contracts

  • Ability to work 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday

*Ideally, You’ll Also Have: *

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
