The Electronic and Physically Security Program team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee all facets of the project in close collaboration with the Superintendent, Project Executive, and Client. As the Project Manager you’ll have a commanding knowledge of all project elements across cost/quality/time/safety and be the primary voice and point of contact for project management direction including high level organization, administration, and planning. In addition to closely managing overall project schedule, you’ll focus heavily on reviewing and processing cost estimates, submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and design changes, as well as leading the communication and coordination among and across both the sub/contractors and Client staff (e.g. leading regular project meetings).
Located in Fishkill, NY; the initial project is expected to be multi-year with little to no travel, with subsequent project work available across a statewide multi-year program. This role is a leadership position within both the project and organization and offers the right person extensive opportunity to impact project, and overall program success. Here’s What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma
8+ years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale buildings/rehabilitation projects with minimum 4 years in Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager role
Extensive knowledge of construction management methods and systems including document management/reporting systems
Demonstrated knowledge of building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, and team and client relationship management
Work will require access to secure facilities and employment will be dependent on clearing a criminal background check
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Working knowledge of Primavera/P6 scheduling software
OSHA 30 Hour Certification
Experience managing constructing projects with significant low voltage system and/or security system SOW
