Jacobs Imagery Analyst, Expert- TS/SCI in Quantico, Virginia

In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission.

Supports Intelligence Analysis and Scientific Analysis activities in support of Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Intelligence (S2), Operations (S3) and Counterintelligence & Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Directorates. Collaborates with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and Department of Defense’s (DoD) best trained General Military Intelligence (GMI) professionals. Will be required to provide stakeholders Intelligence Analytical support for all Intelligence factions. Provides necessary resources with knowledge and experience to support Weapons and Technical Analysis, Geo-spatial Intelligence Science and Analysis, Regional Analysis, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, and Counterintelligence (CI)/Human Intelligence (HUMINT).

Responsibilities:

  • Provides imagery science support specifically related to the exploitation of imagery of the following sensor disciplines: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Thermal Infrared, Spectral, or Geospatial to include OPIR, Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Photogrammetry and Light Imaging Detection and Ranging (LIDAR).

  • Provides technical analytical expertise in support of the USMC National Geospatial-Intelligence Program funded Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG) analysis and production program.

  • Provides recommendations of operational GEOINT architectures, and FSG guidance to analysts, operators, and managers on processes, techniques and procedures.

  • Participates in the development of program strategies, issues papers, briefings, and senior-level correspondence for MCIA and HQ USMC leadership necessary to sustain and expand FSG analysis and production capabilities to meet current and future USMC operations.

  • Provides technical assistance in establishing relationships NSG functional managers to promote service-specific GEOINT requirements and resolve shortfall impacts to MCIA GEOINT operations.

  • Provides guidance and expertise to improve competency of military and civilian analysts in applying advanced remote sensing techniques

  • Supports the development of collection strategies for standing, ad hoc, and emerging FSG capabilities; the investigation of and reporting on collection parameters and any associated constraints associated with littoral mission requirements; and the education and training of MCIA collections staff on existing collection strategies and collection strategy development and implementation.

  • Supports the development and dissemination of FSG products to satisfy USMC and Government requirements including the fusion of FSG products with data, information, and products from other Intelligence disciplines (e.g., HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, MASINT).

  • Provides knowledge on a variety of geospatial exploitation software suites and be able to use data and products from a variety of sensors and collection platforms.

  • Develops and standardizes innovative and adaptive full spectrum GEOINT products and services.

  • Provides research and guidance on sensor application to specific geospatial problem sets, sensor-specific processing techniques, and related training/education.

  • Assists in analyzing and conducting statistical analyses on image datasets, and in identifying and using alternative data sources to satisfy specific mission requirements.

  • Collaborates with and provides scientific support to imagery/geospatial analysis to sharpen assessments of current intelligence issues.

  • Provides Imagery Science expertise to support GEOINT analysis and assessments on intelligence issues.

  • Evaluates commercial, academic, and outside approaches and algorithms, refinement, development of measures of effectiveness, improvements to system environments, and creation of new procedures.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Demonstrates ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.

  • Demonstrates analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft and techniques aligned with labor category mission.

  • Demonstrates extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymaker (e.g. Undersecretary level or higher).

Clearance Required:

  • Active TS/SCI

Preferred:

  • Desired- Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S.

  • Department of Education.

  • Desired- Minimum 20 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
