Your Impact:

Jacobs is searching for an experienced Security Engineer to work with our customer supporting critical networks for an entire Division. This work requires to be 2 days onsite a week and will expose the candidate to various technologies that the Bureau uses to process evidence and material from criminal cases and catch the wrongdoers that keep our nation safe.

  • Responsible for providing support and documentation for a program, organization, system or enclave’s information assurance program and security related audits.

  • Also responsible for active participation in a multidisciplinary systems engineering team, applying fundamental systems security understanding, skills, expertise, and experience to develop a system that satisfies organizational mission and or business requirements, including stakeholder protection needs and security requirements. The information systems security engineer is expected to have expertise and experience in multiple areas such as protection needs assessment, requirements elicitation, security architecture, threat assessment, computer security, communication security, networking, security technologies, hardware and software development, test and evaluation, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and supply chain risk management.

  • Top Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelors Degree OR Equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application/system development support and security architecture.

  • Experience in multiple areas such as protection needs assessment, requirements elicitation, security architecture, threat assessment, computer security, communication security, networking, security technologies, hardware and software development, test and evaluation, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and supply chain risk management.
