About the Opportunity
To lead and grow the construction capability within the NNEP Framework Partnership, responsible and accountable for construction management contracts across the client tasking.
Develop, lead and manage a Construction Management team to undertake all planned and future construction management tasking.
Key Responsibilities include:
Increase delivery capability by internal training and external targeted recruitment campaigns.
Use the Demand Plan to determine Construction Management resource requirements and supporting the development of construction delivery processes and procedures.
Accountable for the approval of all construction related process and procedures for NNEP and drive consistency in delivery across projects and integrated employees.
Embed a culture of reach back and support for all Construction Management employees.
Set out a resource plan and forecast to successfully deliver construction tasking to time and cost.
Develop sufficient capacity in the team to support tendering and adhoc support to deal with emerging issues and client queries.
Development of objectives / targets against a timeline to meet business plans and strategic targets.
Point of reach back for NNEP on any construction related queries both HSE and in delivery.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Senior Construction Management background in delivery of multi-disciplined projects.
Experience of craft management on site.
Experience of working on MoD sites and defence projects.
Understanding of quality assurance in delivery to meet enhanced Nuclear and Defence requirements.
Detailed understanding of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
Excellent planning and organisation skills. And Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of delivering under NEC contracts and role of construction manager and experience and understanding of project planning.
