BD Coordinator III
(This job location is based in Northern Virginia (Reston/Herndon area).
The National Capitol Region (NCR) Sales Team is looking for a Business Development Coordinator III.
Assists with development of opportunity response documents in alignment with the company’s Relationship Based Sales (RBS) process.
Collaborates with Business Development Principals and Sales leadership to establish and populate client/proposal information repositories (e.g. eRoom, Sharepoint). Manages eRoom/Sharepoint content.
Prepares written and graphical elements of sales opportunity response documents such as proposals, qualifications and presentations.
Proofs and edits technical and non-technical documents for consistency.
Organizes and participates in response-related meetings (internal and/or client), as appropriate.
Coordinates production of response documents (printing, copying, binding, shipping).
Updates/maintains non-opportunity specific / additional sales qualification and reference materials (including résumés, project descriptions and organization charts) in designated information management systems.
May provide guidance and direction to other Business Development Coordinators.
Support the Sales Team administratively as needed.

Education and Experience
Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience for a total of seven (7) years.
Technical: Strong capability in Microsoft Office suite and with proficiency in database applications. Strong communication skills
Languages: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (and other languages, as applicable)
Other: Work may be required after hours and on weekends, and sometimes on short notice. Must also be willing and able to travel approximately 25%.
Must have current Top Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain SCI.
Unusual or Special Physical Requirements of Position
Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods.

Computer (90%); General Office equipment.
Attendance is critical at all times to ensure response to customer requirements (100%). Work, including overtime, may be required after hours and on weekends, and sometimes on short notice.
Other Essential Functions
Must take and pass a drug test and background check. Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be willing and able to travel approximately 25%.
