FUNCTION OF POSITION
This job is a modified full- time position and is based in Northern Virginia (Reston/Herndon area).
Jacobs is looking for a qualified ISP candidate for our National Capital Region Business Development team supporting the Intelligence Community. Coordinates and monitors highly sensitive aspects of DoD, IC, and other Industrial security program and security activities, ensuring compliance with Government and company security policies and procedures. Tasks include providing guidance on security to site personnel, advising projects of relevant security issues and needs, processing personnel clearances, keeping and managing records on security relevant matters, employee briefings, managing visitor processes and cleared visit requests, ensuring accountability and traceability for security decisions, and carrying out other duties as required in the administration of corporate, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other Government security regulations.
Understand and enforce:
Working knowledge with: ICD 710, Classification Management and Control Markings System; Executive Order 13526; DoD Manual 5200.01, Volumes 1-4; NIST/NISPOM/ISO 27001; and other DoD/IC classification guides as necessary
Review transfer of data to lower security zones or networks, and have demonstrable knowledge of requirements for so doing
Act as primary individual to request IT transfer data between classified security zones or networks
Responsible for packaging classified material for delivery
Submit and follow-up on VARs; must be knowledgeable of JPAS or similar tools
Train team members and be final review authority to authoritatively analyze documents to identify content that requires classification, dissemination control, or required protection and mark documents appropriately as required. This will include all security markings including classification portion markings, classification blocks, and banner markings.
Maintain visitor and access logs IAW with federal rules and regulations for all secure spaces
Maintain document control log for security containers IAW federal rules and regulations
Have demonstrable understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
Understand customer personnel security systems and administration to include account management, initiating clearance requests, conducting indoctrination, terms, transfers, etc.
Manage SCIF hardware, software, and IT solutions and upgrades with Security/IT, IAW federal rules and regulations
Direct Incident Response in the event of leakage or data breach, to include notification of proper authorities
Develop, implement, and manage a formal Information Security educational overview for new team members and visitors, IAW federal rules and regulations
Conducts annual security training; educating team on IC/customer policies and proper security protocols
Analyze clearance data to determine appropriate actions (required upgrades, renewals, etc.)
Quickly learn new processes and adapt to constantly changing regulations
Provide efficient customer service to employees and security representatives
Support multiple security-related designated tasks for both Operations and Sales Center Team personnel
Other administrative duties will be assigned as required to support Business Development

Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in business, security, or related field and 10 years’ security experience; equivalent experience supporting DoD or IC (either in Industry, as a USG employee, or on active duty) may be considered. Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification required.
Technical : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer knowledge and skills.
Languages : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Must take and pass a drug test and background check
Must have active Top Secret security clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain SCI

Possess strong interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills
Familiar with Government contracting requirements as related to Industrial Security
Experience maintaining records required for Defense Security Service (DSS) reviews
Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer highly preferred
Experience as an FSO, PSO, or SSO supporting DoD or IC
CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certification

Attendance is critical at all times to ensure response to customer requirements.
Work, including overtime, may be required after hours and on weekends, and sometimes on short notice.
