Your Impact:

The Buffalo Group a subsidiary of Jacobs is seeking a Senior Program Director to provide daily management and leadership of a multi-year IT Program focused on research-focused federal civilian programs.

Our mission is to help our customers achieve their missions, transform to digital environments, secure, modernize and optimize their enterprises, and innovate for the future.

  • Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Support our federal client in their mission to provide state-of-the-art web applications.

  • Monitor project performance with the help of appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

  • Prepare reports and present them to senior management as needed.

  • Draft recommendations based on observation, leadership development best practices, and research.

  • Flex schedule is authorized depending on workload and project meetings.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 18+ years of experience with progressive responsibility managing large-scale IT programs, ideally supporting multi-year transformation initiatives that include Cloud, Cybersecurity and End-User solutions, or MS degree with 16+ years’ experience or PhD with 12+ years.

  • Proven experience leading a project involving a diverse team composed of technical experts, business analysts and financial planning personnel.

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment; ability to assess and mitigate project risks.

  • Experience promoting programs, plans, goals and objectives with stakeholders and maintain continuous communication with the client relating to contract performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee, manage and connect multiple projects and timelines across diverse workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage direct reports and sub-contractors.

  • Proven to have outstanding written and oral communication skills to include strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide quick turnaround customer requests and perform in high-intensity, quick reaction environments.
