This position reports directly to the Technical Services Manager, and is based in our Richmond, Virginia office where Jacobs provides the City of Richmond with program and construction management services for the rehabilitation of the City’s sewers. Responsibilities include the determination of the requirements for the rehabilitation of deteriorated sanitary, combined and trunk sewers. Work includes the preparation of assignment scopes and task order documents, estimating, review of technical submittals and preparing technical responses to construction issues.
Must have the ability to execute multiple projects and react to change in a fast-paced environment.
Support the team to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved specifications and client quality standards
Coordination with City agencies and third parties in the preparation of construction assignments
Determine the requirements for the rehabilitation of deteriorated sanitary, combined and trunk sewers
Prepares assignment scopes and estimates
Prepares assignment tasking documents
Provides technical support for submittal reviews
Review material test reports and CCTV post-rehabilitation videos to assure compliance
Bachelors of Science in Civil or Construction Management is required
Previous sewer rehabilitation or underground municipal utility experience is preferred
EIT certification preferred
PACP/MACP/LACP training preferred
Proficiency with MS Office Suite of tools preferred
Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS software preferred
