We are looking for an experienced Sr. Construction Administration Assistant for our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role will support construction project document control such as logging project correspondence, preparing transmittals for work orders, submittals, RFIs, contract changes, etc. and routing documents for closeout.
When you join us, you’ll be responsible for records management including copying, scanning, and e-filing project documents, archiving closed project documents as well as monthly status report production
Other Office/Facilities Management responsibilities will include:
o Managing access and office space reservations for hybrid, remote, or staff that’s traveling though Richmond and needs office space
o Ordering & organizing all office supplies
o Preparing shipments & dropping off overnight mail located in office complex
o Answering office phones as needed and direct calls accordingly
o Recording and reporting office deficiencies to property manager and internal Faculties Management and tracking repairs to resolution
o Pickup and distribute daily US Mail
o Handling office material recycling, i.e. batteries, toner recycling, etc.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Substantial years' construction administration experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Proficient knowledge of office equipment: copiers, printers, scanner, phone systems, fax machines, binding machines, etc.
• Basic knowledge to train on web-based construction document control database
• Individual should be organized, dependable; self-motivated and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
