As our HSEW Manager, your primary mission is to drive excellence in Health, Safety, Environment, and Wellbeing (HSEW) at the site and management levels. You'll quickly gain the trust of our site teams, becoming the go-to resource for HSEW advice. Your role involves monitoring and validating the effective implementation of our project's Risk Control Strategy. You'll also serve as a resource for the technical interpretation of health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements. Your expertise will provide invaluable support to our Project Management Consultants, Jacobs, and Contractors' site teams, where you'll recommend actions for continuous improvement.

  • Manage HSEW on the project in alignment with client requirements.

  • Motivate and nurture your team's growth, both individually and collectively.

  • Review Contractor site-specific Safety Management Plans and Safe Work Procedures for compliance with the site-wide Project HSE Management Plan.

  • Advocate and promote the Jacobs Safety Observation Report (SOR) System.

  • Act as the HSE focal point for Jacobs Construction Engineers/Managers and collaborate and coach the contractor's site supervision and HSE team.

  • Work closely with Jacobs Construction Engineers, mentoring them on processes and procedures.

  • Contribute actively to Construction Engineers' Weekly Meetings and Jacobs Cross Program HSE Weekly Meetings.

  • Participate in site-level Pre-task briefings, Tool Box Talks, and Safety Stand-downs.

  • Identify and report unsafe acts and conditions. Make recommendations to Construction Managers for issuing Safety Violations Reports (SVR) and Stop Work Notices (SWN).

  • Champion the Jacobs Beyond Zero Culture of Caring and the Client's Zero Harm philosophy.

Here’s what you’ll need :

As successful candidate for HSE Manager position, you will possess:

  • You bring over a decade of experience, with a proven track record in infrastructure projects and the supervision of large-scale packages.

  • Your advanced technical training or bachelor's degree in an HSE-related field is backed by a solid understanding of KSA Federal Regulations.

  • Proficiency in English, exceptional IT skills, and excellent communication abilities are your strengths.

  • Experience in managing teams and large-scale frameworks/projects is a must.
