The team here is looking for a Lead Dry Utilities/Electrical Engineer who appreciates the benefits of multidisciplinary working and want to be part of an integrated design process. You must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia. We are looking for Engineers who are willing to embrace the complete design process and step outside the constraints of their own discipline to learn new skills and contribute holistically to the development of designs that exceed client expectations. You will be responsible to undertake designs, modelling, calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, investigations, and bills of quantities for Dry Services associated infrastructure. You will be performing electrical design calculations (i.e., low/high power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, data/telecommunication systems, etc.), sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignment. You will be involved in preparing load analysis for different stages of design, drawings detailing the system designed. You will also be preparing basis of design report for the project and document Energy compliance calculations and forms. You will be coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines and architects and also coordinating the delivery of design outputs including the necessary quality assurance checking. You will collaborate with authorities, the client, consultants, contractors, and other members of the wider organization.
You will have to review and inspect construction activities and to ensure compliance with designs, drawings and specifications and review and approve documentation, such as shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, etc. You should demonstrate a flexible approach to design and team working and will be involved with projects both local to the base office and other teams across the region.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you should have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering – Masters is plus, with competent experience in Electrical Engineering. You must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia with excellent written and oral communications skills (in English).You must have strong detailed design experience of large size Power Distribution Networks, Street Lighting Networks and TEL infra-Networks and good experience in design software (Revit, 3D CADD, Visual SKM or ETap).You should be able to take independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, while remaining dedicated to teamwork required, also undertake clash analysis for utilities independently .You must have a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations and must have experience working on data center, power, VPS systems, generator systems and medium voltage distribution projects
You must be capable to lead team of utilities engineers, BIM engineers and CAD technicians on large scale infrastructure project.
