About the Opportunity:

As a Project Director overseeing Construction Supervision, you will play a pivotal role in managing a major built environment project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the project’s scope, schedule, budget, and quality during the construction phase. You will lead multidisciplinary supervision teams, leveraging your exceptional leadership skills and industry expertise to deliver world-class projects that shape the future of the Kingdom. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Control and direct the supervision of all related works of a Project as per the Contract.

  • Act as the focal point of contact between the internal and external stakeholder for the Project.

  • Closely monitor the Cost and Time aspects of the projects in conjunction with the Construction Contract and issue Contractual Notices

  • Ensure that the requirements of the Contract Documents and the proper administrative procedures are followed.

  • Mentor the Senior Resident Engineers and Resident Engineers in the career growth

  • Challenge the accepted and work towards better delivery efficiency.

  • Assist to prepare project deliverables.

  • Innovate, collaborate and challenge the accepted for optimised solutions and faster delivery plans.

  • To gather information and make recommendations to the stakeholders in Technical, Financial, Contractual and Commercial matters.

  • Manage project deployment, financials and staffing requirement and communicate any changes to internal stakeholders.

  • Supervise contract works including guidance to the contractor on progress programme, quality control, and liaison with AHJs.

  • Monitor and ensure the Quality Control, Quality Assurance and engage with sub-consultants and third parties as required.

  • Manage the Testing, Commissioning and Handing Over of the project as per the Contract.

  • Oversee HS&E compliance with the Contract, Authorities requirements and approved HSE plan.

  • Manage the Close out and completion periods including the Defects Liability Periods.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • A degree in Architecture, engineering or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 25 years of experience.

  • Proven experience in site supervision, and construction management of Buildings and experience delivering / managing the construction of Buildings.

  • Previous experience working in the Middle East.

  • Previous experience leading the technical function of built environment projects.
