Jacobs Quantity Surveyor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Quantity Surveyor



Monitoring contractor’s progress and reporting to Resident Engineer.

Anticipating and warning on issues which may impact on targeted time or cost outcomes.

Reviewing the contractor’s monthly payment applications and report with recommendations to RE.

Responsibility for measurement of the works for the purpose of payment.

Evaluating of claims and variations, preparing payment certificates, monitoring the work and financial progress against the approved construction programme.

Evaluating the cost and time impacts of changes and variations.

Assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Job Qualifications

Recognized degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering/Construction Management.

Minimum 5 years of formal quantity surveying and relevant experience in cost management of large/complex building and infrastructure projects

Registered as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor is preferred.

Knowledge of building construction, quantity surveying, contract, procurement is required is required.

Excellent communication and report writing skills, and good presentation skills in English.
