Your Impact:
Senior Manager Commercial
Provide general direction to JACOBS in the Contract Management function
Prepare tender documents – tailored to JACOBS's needs n Utilization and allocation of resources for the global CM function
Provide guidance to Contract Management Discipline Managers.
Monitor operations within the limits of the approved budget n Maintain a relationship with the Functional Leaders of other functions to ensure the understanding of the objectives of the Service Lines and communicate them to other leaders and functional employees of the contract management area
Establish relationships with the management staff of the business units, to reach a mutual understanding of the objectives of the business unit and maintain communication in relation to the competencies necessary to achieve those objectives.
Ensure support in Contract Management for projects and operations of the business units, through the use of the latest tools and information available, facilitating the following: n Development and implementation of quality management programs to systematically improve Contract Management services n Provision of shared economic services, such as functional provider quality monitoring, expediting, and logistics services for use in all projects, when necessary
Development and implementation of automated contract management systems n Approve the development and maintenance of an integrated plan that includes all Contract Management personnel to ensure uniformity and coordination of all measures, including: Methodology and approval of salary plans
Employee Performance Reviews and Career Discussions
Establishment and maintenance of a staffing, repatriation, planning and replacement system globally and across business unit lines.
Review and approval of planning for the development of practices, standards and policies for the Contract Management function n Maintain regular communication with business units to ensure services are adequate and effective.
Direct the development and approval of functional training programs to ensure that staff maintain a level of knowledge and skills sufficient to meet project requirements. n Approve development programs and consolidation initiatives with respect to contract management requirements
Prepare the salary plan for direct reports and approve salary plan recommendations for assigned departments. Provide guidance to the managers who report to him, for the planning and implementation of goals and objectives with a view to improving services.
