Become part of our team as a Control Systems Engineer in Sacramento who is excited about working on projects that enable our clients’ businesses to operate successfully. You should have a desire to grow professionally and technically with each new project. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team focused on designing building systems, complex facilities, data centers, wastewater facilities, and similar state of the art structures. With your technical background you will work with a team of engineers to create, design, and improve system controls. You'll work in a team environment along with engineers and project managers to solve complex systems integration solutions in a timely and satisfactory manner. You'll provide support on system integration projects and new upgrades, developing PLC code, producing SCADA graphics, and interacting with clients and trade contractors. You will also learn to design and troubleshoot SCADA and Operational Technology networks including PLCs, servers/workstation, network switches and firewalls.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree and/or 5 plus years of experience in Electrical or Instrumentation and Control Engineering

  • Experience with programmable logic controller, Arduino or Raspberry Pi programming

  • Experience with setup and configuration of drives and field instrumentation

  • Experience with some or all the following:

  • Allen-Bradley Rockwell family of products

  • Wonderware (Intouch and System Platform)

  • Siemens Control Systems

  • Ignition by Inductive Automation

  • Strong and effective verbal and written communications skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power and building automation system design

  • Knowledge of open platform communications (OPC) and databases (SQL and Access).
