Position Summary

We are seeking to recruit high-quality Project Management Director with deep experience of Buildings related Project Delivery in the areas of Project Management, Building design, Construction Management, Operation and Maintenance and Tenant Improvements. The successful persons will become part of a respected and ambitious company, working within and leading Project Management teams delivering diverse and challenging Building related projects.   • As a Project Director, you will be responsible for the direction and management of multiple Major Projects or Programs from inception to completion, satisfying Client relationships and achieving or improving on the company's baseline financial targets

  • Works closely with Federal / State / Local entities across the Central Valley of California and continually pursues new opportunities with these groups regarding buildings and facility projects.

  • Ensure your team is in compliance with the policies and general objectives set by the company

  • High awareness of current best practice in establishing & maintaining a Culture of safety and be capable of championing this within given project organization, and sub-teams.

  • Thorough knowledge of client account management process and also managing multi-discipline design teams to the success of your projects.

  • Delivers a high level of commercial and contractual awareness to be able to provide guidance to others

  • Some travel to multiple Federal project locations will normally be required


  • Bachelor degree in engineering or other related subject required

  • 15 years of Construction Management / Project Management related to building projects

  • Corporate membership of an appropriate professional engineering institution preferred (CMAA, PMI)

  • Alternative academic and professional qualifications may be acceptable providing that appropriate skills and job knowledge have been obtained during previous employment preferred

  • Successful delivery of several major complex projects, across multiple sectors (e.g. (Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Mixed-use, High-Rise) in all project phase preferred

  • High level of knowledge of public works practices and Client/Contractor community knowledge preferred

  • Delivery responsibility for at least one major complex project from detail design phase through turnover preferred

  • Management experience across multiple relevant disciplines gained across multiple sectors preferred

  • Knowledgeable in Project Controls, Planning, Scheduling and cost management.
